Water3
BUILD THE BLUE ECONOMY
-
Water3 builds the Blue Economy on Digital Public Infrastructure that creates products, services, and commerce for individuals, smallholders and MSMEs anywhere in Blue Carbon ecosystems, even in low-resource, post-disaster conditions. We deliver free tools, digital substitutes, connection to new sectors, premium markets, and a better deal for folks at the bottom.
In early-stage or high-uncertainty projects, value emerges when complementary actors move together. Water3 supports Blue Carbon coordination with free, open-source, Digital Product Passports and QR commerce for anyone, anywhere. We build a Global South–friendly, all-in-one way to activate person-to-person commerce, prove sustainability, connect to markets, accelerate circularity, and reward creation over control. Water3 substitutes for physical infrastructure, which means our tools could quickly restore fishing commerce and food carts after Myanmar's recent earthquake, turn Ethiopian commodity coffee into trusted brands, and restart food ecosystems after California wildfires. Future component code could substitute for services lost to USAID cuts.

The EU's Green Deal uses W3.org semantic web standards—particularly in the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and Digital Product Passport frameworks—to coordinate markets across SDGs, circularity projects, and climate finance. As a major global market, the EU is becoming the reference for climate remediation, with published taxonomies to document water waste and greenhouse gasses. Water3 aligns Blue Carbon projects with global tracing standards. Importantly, the ESPR leverages the scale required for climate action to embed decentralized technologies into daily life. This strengthens trade, national interests, strategic autonomy, industrial renewal, wealth distribution, and the circular transition.
Water3 is the Blue Carbon expression of the larger Economy3 initiative. It uses global legislation—especially the EU's ESPR—and decentralized, blockchain-like infrastructure to counter the centralization that blocks climate action and protects legacy interests and Big Tech.
